I had seen that story about Westminster refusing to match the EU funds. It surely did not sound right. Question: Did Westminster keep the EU funds or did EU not produce them under the circumstances?
Are you advocating total independence from Great Britain and UK? Or, are you advocating a total separation from English control but within the UK as Scotland has?
Please allow me one kind word for my beleaguered English cousins. Did you know that there is a group there advocating the same thing, a separate parliament for England? Each of the four entities of UK would govern themselves in all except international relations. Then, there is York that wants to go its own way but we'll not get into that.
Bend a knee. No red-blooded American would agree to bending a knee. However, "Gwell plygu na thorri". It is better to bend than to break. And, that does not mean surrender. The tree that can bend in the storm grows stronger.
