I can understand your bitterness Owain, but you have to ask the question, would the majority of Welshman or people living in Wales seriously want to break ties with the rest of the UK? I'm afraid the answer I think is no. Your viewpoint is out of date and your bitterness goes back hundreds of years, most Welsh people have accepted that they are part of the UK. Its the 21st century, Wales will never truely be able to cut ties with the UK, in fact the UK itself is becoming more and more dominated by the EU and decisions made in Brussels. If the UK doesnt rule itself, what hope is there for Wales? I think you should accept Westminster rule and concentrate on what makes Wales great. You dont have to be completely independant to be proud and patriotic about this amazing country.
