What is all the fuss about the census for? At the end of the day it contains enough information for me to identify I am Welsh - personally I think the whole human race is going collectively mad. Nationality is a personal expression, Wales has a strong proud culture and heritage, and quite frankly this is getting stronger every day.Tribalism and petty small mindedness is one of the reasons why we failed to drag ourselves out of the s**** for over 10 000 years - one need only look at the Balkans and 1940's Germany to see the consequences of nationalistic sentiment over-expressed.
Besides which, if you think Wales (or England, or Europe) will be the same (name, boundaries or otherwise) in 500 years, think again!!
If you need a cause celebre, maybe you should try saving the planet - which we are sorely in danger of losing through greed and narrow-mindedness. But as George W Bush said, allegedly, "I'll be dead in 50 years so who cares"
It has taken me 27 years to realise that we are all quite stupid (that goes for all 9 billion of you).
