Sherry Posset A posset was originally a drink made of sweetened milk curdled with treacle, ale or wine, etc., which used to be given to anyone who had a cold. INGREDIENTS: Milk - 600ml (1 pint), Sweet sherry - 150ml, Grated nutmeg - pinch, Demerara sugar - 1 tbsp, Lemon zest - to decorate.
COOKING:1. Heat the milk, sherry, nutmeg and sugar in a saucepan. Serve sprinkled with the lemon zest.
