Home Planet

From the Living Island, we progressed to the Home Planet, which is the closest the Dome gets to a theme park ride. Sponsored by British Airways, we were greeted by all-too-convincing aliens and passed onto the pod on which we would journey to this distant planet. On arrival we explored all the different aspects of the planet, from polar glaciers to volcanoes, each with appropriate cool and heat. With surprisingly little movement, it successfully simulated a journey through our planet's varied lands and even down into the Earth's core. At the end, we were introduced to the many faces of the World's people and our alien companions took their leave of us, allowing us to stay and appreciate this amazing planet of our own.
