Port Isaac - Cornwall

Port Isaac. Wikipedia photo

Port Isaac has been called the most unspoiled village on the north Cornish coast, retaining its original character despite the hordes of summer visitors. The village is wedged between the steep cliff wall; its winding, narrow lanes filled with white-washed fisherman's cottages are a delight. This is the place to find excellent crab and lobster. It is reached on the A39 from Barnstaple, then B3314 via Slaughterbridge and Pendoggett. Just west of town, the beach at Polzeath is one of the best surfing sites in Cornwall.
