The Mayflower

Originally built about 1550 when it was known as The Shippe. The Inn was rebuilt in the 18th Century incorporate parts of the Pilgrim Father's Ship, the Mayflower within its structure and renamed the Spread Eagle and Crown. In the mid-1960s it was renamed the Mayflower.

Sit inside this riverside pub in the downstairs or the restaurant upstairs and enjoy the ambiance of exposed wooden beams and open fireplaces. Sit outside and take a view across the Thames at the Captain Kidd public house.

Close to the pub at St. Mary's Church, Captain Christopher Jones of the Mayflower is buried.
